Lesson 1-Welding Class
Welding lessons are conducted by Jim, who has been welding for over 40 years and teaching welding for more than 20 years. Lessons will be held in our workshop in Peachester.
Classes are suitable for:
- Beginners
- Hobbyist
- Artists
Skills you will learn:
- Set up of the machine.
- The basics of MIG Welding.
- Safety around welding.
What you will need:
- Note pad/pen.
- Water Bottle.
- Safety boots (no runners).
- Long cotton/denim pants.
- Long sleeve cotton shirt.
- Auto Darkening Welding helmet (available in store).
- Welding gloves (available in store).
When we run classes:
When it suits you, just call for the appointment time that works best for you, and we will do our very best to accommodate you. Weekends are also available.
We Supply:
Welders, Gas, Consumables and Materials
This lesson is an introduction to welding and is 2 hours long, with approx. 30min hands on welding at the end.
The second lesson is mostly hands on welding and learning different welding techniques. (Please book the second lesson separately in our store.)
We are also very happy to supply you with advice on where to buy your machine and consumables.
