Pressure Test & Shim Kit

If your model is not in the Model List , the pic below shows the differences in the couplers.

You can test from multiple locations.

Backhoe:
If you have a backhoe the easiest place is the backhoe pressure line.

4in1 bucket or 3rd Function:
If you don’t have a backhoe but do have 4in1 bucket or 3rd Function fitted to the loader, then this is a good location.
The pressure will display when you operate the outlet.

Loader:
If you don’t have any of the above you will need to test from the loader outlet.

When using the loader outlet you need to remove the loader lines and attach to one of the outlets.
The pressure will display on the gauge when you move the loader control to operate the outlet.
You can use any of the 4 outlets.

Hoses:
You can test the pressure in any hose using the inline test point. For esample testing the steeing pressure

The extra fittings allow you to diagnose issues with your machine.

Inline Test point:
This allows you to remove a hose and test the pressure in the line.
The BX has a diverter that gives priority to the steering, testing this function requires the inline test point.

Threaded test points:
The threaded test points allow you to check the pressure at the “test ports” on the tractor. One such test point is on the HST Transmission for the forward and reverse drive pressures.

You can test any hydraulic equipment with this kit.

Other equipment may have different couplers and fittings the optional “threaded test points” will allow you to do this. You can use these test points to connect to or adapt to other machines.

We do not recommend you increase above the rated pressure.

However we have found some Kubota models have the pressure set well below the rated pressure. An increase to the rated pressure will give you you maximum performance.
